DESCRIPTION:The fourth-wave feminist movement has been celebrated as a rev
 ival of feminism that is driven by the power of the Internet and social me
 dia to challenge gender inequity. Through a rhetorical deconstruction of c
 ustomer online testimonials from three American fertility websites I chall
 enge the liberatory claims attached to fourth-wave expression. What emerge
 s through this investigation is the user-generated complicity of consumers
  who are encouraged to buy into an infertility cure but who also inadverte
 ntly compound gendered perceptions of reproductive health.
