DESCRIPTION:The Intelligent Inclusive Interaction Design (I3D) Lab at CPDM
  (Centre for Product Design and Manufacturing) of IISc (Indian Institute o
 f Science) undertakes research in the field of human computer interaction\
 , intelligent user interfaces and inclusive design. Our present research i
 s investigating new modalities of interaction and in particular eye gaze c
 ontrolled interfaces. We are developing new target prediction and multimod
 al fusion algorithms to improve accuracy and response times of gaze contro
 lled interfaces facilitating human machine interaction for automotive and 
 military aviation environments and working on detecting users’ cognitive
  load. We also actively pursue research on Assistive Technology for spasti
 c children and on body posture tracking for developing smart manufacturing
  system.\n\nThis talk in particular will present a couple of new interacti
 on techniques involving a laser pointer and eye gaze controlled projected 
 display\, results from user studies on detecting drivers’ distraction an
 d our research initiative on smart manufacturing system.\n
