DESCRIPTION:With more and more companies working on self-driving cars\, th
 e importance of good quality pedestrian recognition has increased. The tal
 k will focus on the basics of feature detection and description in images.
  We will also summarise a few key algorithms that have provided recent bre
 akthroughs in this field. Finally\, along with a live demo\, we will visit
  the Histogram of Gradients algorithm more in-depth\, focusing on the pede
 strian recognition use-case.
