 which typically run on large supercomputers. With the advent of large Peta
 scale machines\, there is a strong emphasis on parallel scalability and en
 ergy efficiency. However\, knowledge of verification of Fortran codes is l
 acking and there is anecdotal evidence to suggest that there is an over-re
 liance compilers to verify codes. This presentation will introduce a simpl
 e verification workflow and present the NAG compiler and verification tool
 s for Fortran codes.\n\n
