DESCRIPTION:At GE-Dharmacon we have been developing a wide range of capabi
 lities for CRISPR-CAS9.  This has involved the development of an algorithm
  for the design of highly functional Crispr sequences and the subsequent d
 evelopment of products to enable knockout and knockin work. \n\nOne of the
  main areas in which we have made significant advances has been in the dev
 elopment of arrayed crispr screening.  For this we have designed a system 
 that employs synthetic crRNA arrayed into 96 or 384 well plates\, enabling
  screening to be performed using assays that are not suitable for a pooled
  based crispr screen. \n\nIn the seminar we will discuss: \n\n- Developmen
 t of the algorithm for design of highly penetrant crRNAs.\n- The different
  applications of arrayed and pooled crispr screening.\n- Examples where ar
 rayed screening has been employed successfully\, two examples of internal 
 screens performed by Dharmacon scientists and two examples of screens perf
 ormed by customers.
