DESCRIPTION:I will present the recent development of multi-dimensional ste
llar\nstructure models based on a fully compressible hydrodynamical time i
mplicit\ncode\, the MUSIC code\, devoted to stellar and planetary interior
 s. I will\ndiscuss the main challenges in the computations of multi-dimens
ional stellar\nstructures and some of the advantages of our approach with
MUSIC for the\nstudy of stellar fluid dynamics problems. MUSIC is interfac
ed with our\nstellar evolution code and with MESA\, which provide initial
1D stellar\nstructures for any type of star and allow exploration of a wid
e range of\nstellar phases and masses. I will present our first applicatio
ns to a\nvariety of problems\, in particular the study of accretion's effe
ct on the\nstructure of very young low mass stars\nand the problem of conv
ection and overshooting in pre-MS stars.  I will show\nthe success of our
approach with MUSIC for the treatment of overshooting\n within the conte
xt of lithium depletion in the Sun and in solar-like stars.\nA major motiv
ation for these studies is to derive new prescriptions to be\nimplemented
in stellar evolution codes and  to improve stellar evolution\nmodels that
are widely used in stellar and galactic astrophysics.\n
