 n\nThe course offers a deep and practical study for dealing with life’s 
 challenges positively through an understanding of the spiritual laws that 
 govern us all. \n\nWhat is Raja Yoga?\nRaja Yoga meditation is a philosop
 hy of life that is made practical with the associated method of meditation
 . It helps us to attain both happiness and clarity of mind. It sets out in
  very clear and simple terms a new way of seeing and understanding ourselv
 es in relation to the world we live in.\n\nThe knowledge of Raja Yoga chal
 lenges our commonly accepted beliefs and takes us on a journey deep into t
 he meaning of who we are and what our highest purpose can be. \n\nIn this
  present world where more and more of us get pulled into a spiral of expec
 tations and increasing dependencies that eventually affect the quality of 
 our lives\, it is necessary for us to learn to be free from the web of our
  own creation.\n\nThe name ‘Raja Yoga’ is derived from the Sanskrit wo
 rd ‘raja’ meaning king or master. The method teaches us how to become 
 masters of our mind and senses. It frees us from conscious or subconscious
  subservience. The more we become free from dependency and subservience\, 
 the more we are able to re experience our original nature of peace\, happi
 ness and compassion.\n\nEmotional stability is essential for improved conc
 entration and clarity of mind and it leads us to a life where there is bot
 h richness of the head and richness of the heart. Eventually such a proces
 s will make our world richer.\n
