DESCRIPTION:Richard Sorrell (b.1948) is a distinguished member of the New 
 English Art Club and the Royal Watercolour Society who has generously lent
  30 of his colourful paintings for exhibition at Wolfson College.\n\nIn th
 e last 15-20 years his ‘invented paintings’\, reinventions of life fro
 m years of looking\, have come to the fore. Richard will give an illustrat
 ed talk about his work and his people who\, once seen\, are instantly reco
 gnisable going about their business or in social situations with which we
