DESCRIPTION:I will review in this talk the relationships physicists observ
 e/conjecture &nbsp\;between the associative algebras<br>(such as Temperley
 -Lieb) that&nbsp\;appear in lattice models\, and the &nbsp\;conformal fiel
 d theories (CFT)&nbsp\;&nbsp\;that&nbsp\;&nbsp\;describe<br>their &nbsp\;c
 ontinuum limits. I will then discuss in more detail a possible way to perf
 orm "fusion" for affine Temperley-Lieb<br>modules\, and what this may have
  to do with Operator Product Expansion (OPE) in CFT.&nbsp\;
