DESCRIPTION:_The presentation will start by looking at the world's convent
 ional oil demand and supply picture for the next 25 years in order to iden
 tify the contribution expected from the application of Improved Oil Recove
 ry (IOR) and Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) Technologies.  It will then discu
 ss strategies for understanding the habitat of remaining oil after a conve
 ntional waterflood.  These include predictive reservoir modelling and enha
 nced surveillance to measure field performance.  The presentation will con
 clude with a summary of 2 BP led technologies that target opportunities to
  improve Sweep Efficiency and Displacement Efficiency.  Both of the techno
 logies started life as conversations between BP and academia!  They are no
 w being appliced in BP operations around the world._
