DESCRIPTION:RSA CarbonLimited is exploring the idea for personal carbon tr
 ading. Conceived as an\nemissions trading scheme in which individuals beco
 me carbon traders\, expanding existing\nschemes to cover all of the UK’s
  emissions\, personal carbon trading could bring about\nrapid societal shi
 ft in favour of a low carbon society as individuals and households make\nd
 ecisions in favour of low carbon living to better manage their carbon foot
 print.\n18 months into the project\, CarbonLimited has developed alternati
 ve approaches to\nmaking this idea a reality and is ready to consult with 
 RSA fellows and the wider public.\nThe CarbonLimited team will be giving y
 ou a personal carbon allowance and asking ‘how\nwill you use yours?’\n
