DESCRIPTION:The accelerated expansion of the Universe might be related to
modifications of gravity on cosmological scales and to the impact of addit
ional scalar fields. However\, to recover General Relativity on small scal
es\, one usually needs to introduce non-linear screening mechanisms.\nI wi
ll present K-mouflage models\, which are one of the three screening mechan
isms that have been developed so far. I will discuss their stability with
respect to quantum corrections\, the constraints from solar system tests o
f gravity\, and the impact on cosmological probes. I will also briefly dis
cuss the opposite case of ultra-local models.
