DESCRIPTION:This talk will briefly discuss the existing work on survival m
odels which allow for missing data. Data on people with cerebral palsy\, b
orn in the Bristol area in the 1940s and 1950s will be described to motiva
te methods for informative missing data. The models will be presented\, an
d applied to the Bristol data. Accelerated failure regression is used to m
odel the dependence of time on covariates. The missing data mechanism is a
llowed to depend on both the covariates and the event time. The interpreta
tion of the results will be compared with available case analysis and mult
 iple imputation results.
