DESCRIPTION:A review of some the results concerning nonlinear hdyroelastic
  waves will be given.  We will present waves forced by moving pressures an
 d solitary waves on top of a fluid covered by an ice plate\,  modelled as 
 a thin elastic plate. The fluid is either of constant density of stratifie
 d and two-dimensional or three-dimensional problems are considered.
