DESCRIPTION:Knots and their groups are a traditional topic of geometric to
 pology. In this talk I will explain how the subject can be approached by a
 n algebraic topologist\, using ideas from Quillen's homotopical algebra\, 
 rephrasing old results and leading to new ones.
