DESCRIPTION:In the first half of the seminar\, I will be giving a talk whi
 ch I presented at the ACII'07 Conference in September. The paper discussed
  the extraction of affect-communicating features from every-day body motio
 ns ad particularly focused on allowing for personal movement idiosyncrasie
 s.\nTime-permitting I will also give an overview over the work I did while
  visiting the Personal Robots Group at the MIT Media Lab over the Summer. 
 During my 1-month visit I helped to build two complementing systems for co
 ntrolling a robot or avatar using the Nintendo Wii-mote and an infrared-ba
 sed motion tracking system.
