DESCRIPTION:Constraining or detecting any non-Gaussianity in the CMB is a
key method for discriminating between the many models of inflation. After
briefly introducing the separate universe approach to calculating the curv
ature perturbation on large scales I present a diagrammatic approach to ca
lculating the primordial n-point function of the curvature perturbation. A
pplications of this formalism to calculating the trispectrum (4-point func
tion) in specific models of inflation are presented.
