DESCRIPTION:The Boy and The Brothers by Swami Omananda Puri\, published in
  1959\, describes the author's early life and later encounters with Willia
 m Coote (the 'Boy' of the title)\, their journey from London to India with
  the spectres of WWII and Partition in the background and their attempts t
 o spread the teachings of the 'Brothers'.  In this talk\, Dawood will disc
 uss his research into the book\, including finding descendants of Swami Om
 ananda Puri\, and his current project of translating the work into a paral
 lel live/screen adaptation supported by a residency at the National Studio
  Theatre.
