DESCRIPTION:We know that carbon dioxide from aircraft contributes to globa
 l warming but\nwhat about other aircraft emissions? One of these\, Nitroge
 n oxide (NOx)\,\ncreates one greenhouse gas (ozone) but helps to destroy a
 nother (methane).\n\nWhich effect is more important? Furthermore\, if we r
 educe NOx emissions we\nwill probably have to increase CO2 emissions. What
  is the best trade-off\nbetween these gases? And should we deliberately se
 ed the stratosphere with\n\nSO2 in order to reflect some of the sun's rays
 ?\n\nThis talk investigates the feasiblity of a 'chameleon plane'\, which 
 examines\nthe air outside and adjusts its emissions to be as envionmentall
 y invisible\nas possible.\n
