DESCRIPTION:Why have stress levels risen in children? A recent study has
revealed that primary school-aged children in Britain worry daily about gl
obal warming\, terrorism and passing their exams. Adults questioned for t
he study believe that this anxiety is caused by the influence of the media
on children and pressures of consumerism. Others feel that breakdown in
family life and community are the main causes.\n\n\nThis is one of the ter
mly seminars presented by Wolfson Press Fellows. If you have any views on
this subject\, or if you prefer to just listen to what others have to say
\, please come to Plommer House A\, Wolfson College on Monday 29th October
