 strategies.* In this interactive lecture students will explore and apply n
 umerical concepts to solve mathematical problems in motivating and engagin
 g contexts.\n\n*About the speaker:* Liz Woodham is the Primary Coordinator
  for the NRICH project (www.nrich.maths.org). Liz was a primary school tea
 cher in north London before joining the NRICH team. Her current role is to
  assist with the development of primary level materials for the NRICH webs
 ite and to conduct workshops with maths teachers and pupils.\n\n*Audience:
