DESCRIPTION:Data on the early life stages of Atlantic salmon are frequentl
y collected as part of the ongoing monitoring of freshwater stocking progr
ams and to provide qualitative assessments of the health of the ecosystem.
It was the work of my thesis to fit (often complex) Bayesian models to ex
isting datasets using computationally intensive MCMC techniques to provide
an evaluation of such quantities as habitat suitability\, juvenile surviv
al and migratory survival. The data presented were collected on juvenile s
almon populations in the River Conon in the Cromarty Firth\, N. E. Scotlan
