DESCRIPTION:Atomic impurities in diamonds not only give diamonds their col
 ours\, they also obey the rules of quantum mechanics. They have thus been 
 proposed as a building block to design new technologies relying on the law
 s of quantum mechanics to enhance current capabilities in computing and se
 nsing. In this talk\, I will introduce such impurities\, their basic prope
 rties\, as well as some of their quantum applications. (No prior knowledge
  of quantum mechanics is necessary)\n
