DESCRIPTION:An international team of scientists\, working over the last fo
 ur years\, has developed a framework for Mapping European Seabed Habitats 
 (MESH).  \nThe project achievements far exceeded those originally planned\
 , and the Partners are eager the standards\, protocols\, tools\, technique
 s and guides produced\, are adopted by a wider group of marine practitione
 rs.  \nThis presentation will describe some of the key outputs of the proj
 ect including: an online meta-database of over 1000 seabed surveys\; a map
 ping website - the MESH webGIS\, the comprehensive "Guide to Marine Habita
 t Mapping" and\, the first unified seabed habitat map of north west Europe
 .\n
