DESCRIPTION:Dr Carolin Crawford has been an observational astronomer for m
 ore than 20 years. Using a series of spectroscopic data\, Dr Crawford stud
 ies the properties and immediate environment of massive central cluster ga
 laxies and powerful radio sources at intermediate redshift. She has also b
 een an active communicator of science in recent years\, delivering public 
 talks and lectures in many occasions. \n\nThe talk will start at 19:45 at 
 Wolfson Lecture Theatre\, Department of Chemistry. Members of CUAS may ent
 er free of charge\, and the ticket price for non-members is £2. We also w
 elcome anyone to join the society at the talk.
