 ucture Commission\, responsible for providing expert advice to HM Governme
 nt on the pressing infrastructure challenges facing the railway network. L
 ord Adonis shall specifically be addressing work around High Speed Two & T
 hree\, East West Rail and Crossrail 2. \n\nThe talk is complimented by Rob
  Brighouse on Wednesday 24th January 2018 on the East West Railway Company

 m the Cambridge University branch of The Railway Club\, the CURC is the se
 cond oldest railway enthusiast club in Britain! The CURC tries to arrange 
 an event in Cambridge every week during Full Term. On most Wednesdays or F
 ridays this involves an invited speaker giving an illustrated talk on a sp
 ecific subject\, and this is almost always a professional from the rail in
 dustry or preservation. We’ve had big names in the past\, including seni
 or managers from several Train Operating Companies.\n\nWe also visit railw
 ay sites termly including depots\, signalling centres and industrial railw
 ays for members.\n\nWe give you a chance to meet the top employers from ac
 ross the industry and have huge success in our members going onto top Grad
 uate employment within the railway industry…whether HS2 \, Balfour Beatt
 y\, Crosscountry\, Network Rail\, DfT etc…\n\nMembership for students co
 sts £10 per year or £25 for life membership. You can pay an annual membe

  £3 at the door for non-members\, upon your third entry to a talk (first
