DESCRIPTION:We have seen great progress during the last ten years in the u
 nderstanding of the riemaniann framework on shape spaces\, also supported 
 by the steady exponential growth of the computational resources. The outco
 me is that the modeling possibilities for shapes ensembles are now fairly 
 large. However\, it is not that clear how to address concretely the select
 ion of different metric structures for the analysis of a shape ensembles. 
 In this talk\, we will discuss some simple geometrical point of view going
  in that direction and with interesting links with matrix completion. Join
