DESCRIPTION:The determination of the quark and gluon structure of the prot
on is a central\ncomponent of the precision phenomenology program at the L
arge Hadron Collider (LHC).\nThis internal structure is quantified by the
Parton Distribution Functions (PDFs)\,\nwhich encode the information relat
ed to the momentum distribution of quarks and\ngluons within the proton. I
n this talk I will present an overview of recent\ndevelopments in the fiel
d of PDFs from the MMHT perspective\, and some of the\nopportunities and c
hallenges presented by the high level of precision being aimed\nfor (and a
 chieved) at the LHC.\n
