DESCRIPTION:Dark matter not only forms an invisible cosmic scaffolding wit
hin which\ngalaxies form\, its distribution in the universe also contains
 a wealth of\ninformation about neutrinos\, dark energy\, and physics at t
he earliest times.\nMeasurements of gravitational lensing in the cosmic mi
crowave background\n(CMB) allow this matter distribution to be directly se
en and mapped.  In my\ntalk\, I will first discuss recent measurements o
f CMB lensing and their\nscientific implications. I will then explain why
upcoming measurements of\nthe CMB lensing signal\, with experiments such a
s AdvancedACT and Simons\nObservatory\, will be remarkably powerful probes
  of cosmology. Lensing is not\nonly a signal\, however\, but also a source
of noise that limits how much we\ncan learn about the very early universe
. With illustrations from recent\nwork\, I will explain why delensing - re
moving the lensing effect to reveal\nthe primordial sky - is crucial for t
 he future of CMB cosmology.
