DESCRIPTION:Heterometallic cluster compounds are currently actively invest
igated by many research groups\, leading from structural studies through f
unctional analyses to the generation of innovative materials.[1\,2] Binary
  anionic P4 analogs\, [E142E152]2– and [E13E153]2– (E13 = Ga\, In\, Tl
 \; E14 = Ge\, Sn\, Pb\; E15 = As\, Sb\, Bi)\, hence binary tetrahedral Zin
tl-anions\, proved to be useful synthetic tools in reactions with transiti
on metal compounds for assembling ternary intermetalloid clusters [MxE13/1
4yE14/15z]q–.[3\,4] The latter possess a large variety of different stru
ctural motifs and corresponding electronic properties\, depending on the n
ature of the involved elements.[5-8] Unprecedented\, non-classical structu
res helped to gain deeper insight in the formation of such aggregates.[9.1
