 a short intro and then read and discuss two articles on the subject:\n\n1)
   "Erythropoiesis: Development and Differentiation" - we will read a coupl
 e of paragraphs from this article which will help us understand how red bl
 ood cells are formed. \n\n2) "Diet-Induced Low-Grade Metabolic Acidosis an
 d Clinical Outcomes: A Review" - Following interest in blood pH in the las
 t meeting\, we will read and discuss this article describing the outcomes
