DESCRIPTION:As part of its Nightmare series\, Dr. George Friedman (CEO of 
 Geopolitical Futures and founder of Stratfor) will explain how an escalati
 on of the 'New Cold War' leads to a new Iron Curtain through Ukraine\, and
  what the subsequent political fallout would be. The event will set the st
 age for the Forum's upcoming research project on The New Intermarium\, whi
 ch aims to examine the new geopolitics in Central and Eastern Europe.\n\nD
 r. George Friedman  is a U.S. geopolitical forecaster and strategist on in
 ternational affairs. He is the founder and chairman of Geopolitical Future
 s\, a new online publication that analyzes and forecasts the course of glo
 bal events. Prior to founding Geopolitical Futures\, Friedman was chairman
  of Stratfor\, the private intelligence publishing and consulting firm he 
 founded in 1996.\n
