DESCRIPTION:Consider the steady Boltzmann equation on a bounded domain for
  soft potentials\, and assume the diffuse reflection boundary with a non-i
 sothermal wall temperature. In the talk\, I will discuss the existence of 
 the stationary solution as well as its dynamical stability. The main effor
 ts in the analysis are made to treat difficulties from the lack of spectra
 l gap for soft intermolecular interaction potentials.
