DESCRIPTION:Tim Mulhall\, COO of Hornby Hobbies\, is joining us to take a 
 look at the development process from initial model selection to launch of 
 your favourite model train. As you can imagine it is far beyond a simple p
 lastic toy from the Far East. This shall prove to be an interesting talk f
 or anyone who is fond or Hornby or interested in design and manufacturing 
 - not only of model railways\, but of the challanges facing any company ma

 om the Cambridge University branch of The Railway Club\, Cambridge Univers
 ity Railway Club (CURC) is the second oldest railway enthusiast club in th
 e world! The CURC arranges an event in Cambridge most weeks during Full Te
 rm\, most often a presentation by an invited speaker\, almost always a key
  professional from the rail industry\, on a specific subject. The club is 
 not just train talk\, but about how the railway works. We have a celebrate
 d history of CURC alumni who now work in the railway industry\, with some 
 at quite senior levels.\n \nMembership for students costs £10 per year or
  £25 for life membership. We charge £3 at the door for non-members\, upo
 n your third entry to a talk (first two talks are free). So come and try u
