 ber of medieval coins being found in Britain\, mostly with metal detectors
 . The Fitzwilliam Museum’s EMC (Early Medieval Corpus) is an online reco
 rd of these finds\, which has become an important resource for archaeologi
 sts and historians. Coin finds can used to explore many aspects of our med
 ieval past.
