DESCRIPTION:This year's lecture will be a discussion about how bystander i
 nterventions can make an impact on reducing harassment.\n\nWe are delighte
 d that this year's lecture will be presented by *Dr Rachel Fenton*\, Senio
 r Lecturer in Law at the University of Exeter. Dr Fenton will speak about 
 her involvement in The Intervention Initiative\, an evidence-based bystand
 er intervention programme and toolkit for the prevention of sexual and dom
 estic violence in UK university settings.\n\nRachel has a long-standing re
 search interest in violence against women\, with many publications about s
 exual offences and issues relating to gender and the law and has spoken wi
 dely on the topic. She has recently been appointed as the Speak Out Guardi
 an for the University of Exeter academic staff.\n\nA buffet lunch and refr
