 d DPAC (the Data Processing and Analysis Consortium) is preparing to publi
 sh the second Gaia Data Release (GDR2\, expected in April 2018). We will p
 resent an overview of the Gaia Mission status\, and will describe the expe
 cted contents and precision of GDR2\, and illustrate how to access the dat
 a. We will then open up the session for a discussion on how GDR2 will impa
 ct Exoplanet science\, and how Exo-Cam might want to prepare.
