DESCRIPTION: Alexa is now on many devices and in many countries.  Building
  the original voice assistant was a true example of AI at scale.   Since l
 aunch\, the number of users\, devices and features of Alexa has continued 
 to expand at a huge rate.   I'll speak to some of the challenges of buildi
 ng and deploying AI and ML at scale\, whilst continuing to innovate and pu
 sh boundaries -- all whilst having a very large user base that aren't afra
 id to point out if you ever get it wrong.    What does AI at scale really 
 mean here? And what are the challenges?  (for research\, for engineering\,
  for management\, for accuracy of algorithms).     I'll bring along some A
 lexa devices to demonstrate some of the topics we are working on\, and the
  ways we are pushing to make Alexa smarter every day.\n
