DESCRIPTION:I will review recent progress in model building on the combine
 d explanation of hints on lepton flavour universality violation in semi-ta
 uonic and rare B-meson decays. After identifying the main constraints in t
 he context of SM effective field theory\, I will discuss explicit (a la Pa
 ti-Salam) constructions. The implications for high-pT physics will also be
  covered.
