 isk Academics (CARA) will speak about the work of CARA in rescuing academi
 cs and their families because of persecution\, violence and conflict.\n\nA
  hot soup lunch will be served from 12.40pm.\n\nCara (the Council for At-R
 isk Academics) provides urgently-needed help to academics in immediate dan
 ger\, those forced into exile\, and many who choose to work on in their ho
 me countries despite serious risks. Cara also supports higher education in
 stitutions whose work is at risk or compromised.\n\n
