DESCRIPTION:I will discuss a setup in which the dimensional-deconstruction
  limit can be applied at the level of exact\, N=2 partition functions on t
 he four sphere\, calculated via localisation or topological strings. This 
 leads to the BPS partition function of the  6D (2\,0) SCFT on the four sph
 ere times a torus and provides a quantitative check of the deconstruction 
 proposal. The same principle will then be applied to the deconstruction of
  Little String Theory. This provides a nontrivial test for a recent propos
 al regarding N=1 partition functions on the four sphere\, which are not cu
 rrently calculable via localisation or topological string theory.\n
