DESCRIPTION:Dr Peter Wothers is (possibly the most well-known) Teaching Fe
 llow at the Department of Chemistry in Cambridge. His IA lecture series ha
 s gained significant attention amongst the student population\, foremost d
 ue to his famous “exploding chicken” experiment. In 2012\, he gave the
  Royal Institution Christmas Lectures\, The Modern Alchemist. He is the au
 thor of many books\, including “Chemical Structure and Reactivity” and
  “Organic Chemistry”\, and has been significantly involved with the Ch
 emistry Olympiad. His talks and lectures are known to have a practical com
 ponent\, so SciSoc is looking forward to be hosting him and his exploding
