The Cambridge Russian-Speaking Society
The Cambridge Russian-Speaking Society is a charity which is run by volunteers and has been operating in the UK since 1999. We have over 2000 regular subscribers to our newsletter and support over 200 families in Cambridgeshire who share an interest in the Russian language, culture, history and traditions.
Every year we organise a range of cultural events to address the interests of various groups of our members – talks, social outings, film festivals, art exhibitions, and music concerts, amongst others. In our diverse range of activities, we explore Russian art, culture, history, traditions and intercultural connections.
Our efforts are aimed at promoting common values of mutual support and understanding; we seek to strengthen integration, peace and education in our community via the medium of art and culture. We have a strong group of professional volunteers who can offer skills and experience in organising and managing cultural events.
