Gregory Norminton’s first novel, “The Ship of Fools,” was published by Sceptre in 2002 and was followed in 2004 by Arts and Wonders for which he won an Arts Council Writers’ Award. He published “Ghost Portrait” in 2005; his new novel “Serious Things” was published in 2008. He is also an environmental activist and, in 2005, was a participant in “Planet Action,” a television series produced by Animal Planet in conjunction with the World Wildlife Fund. Gregory will speak about the interrelation between literary activism and environmental activism in his work. A discussion and wine reception will follow the reading.
