Abstract
The simple exclusion process (SEP) is an interacting particle system which represents the evolution of random walks on the d-dimensional lattice, where jumps to already occupied sites are suppressed. I will present some probabilistic properties of the SEP , and use them to prove a central limit theorem for the position of a tagged particle.
