I present the recent determination of Îąs performed by the NNPDF collaboration. I show that our approach is free of inconsistencies that affect fits of Îąs where only a specific hadron collider process is taken into account. Similar arguments are utilized to introduce a prospective method to account for uncertainties of theoretical origin.
