Abstract
As we add more data into an analysis, how should parameter constraints change? Should the uncertainties just shrink, or should the central values be expected to move also? I describe a fruitful approach to investigating such questions and consider some examples. The point of view presented also enables us to understand what changes to expect if we add more parameters to the model.
