Abstract
The Bondi-Metzner-Sachs (BMS) symmetries arise at the null boundary of asypmtotically flat spacetimes. Field theories with BMS symmetry have been recently used to construct the notion of Minkowskian holography, especially in the 3d bulk – 2d boundary case. This programme entails understanding these rather weird field theories in more detail. In this talk, we would outline how to build a bootstrap programme for 2d field theories with BMS symmetries inspired by methods of the conformal bootstrap. Based on 1612.01730, 1705.05890 and ongoing work.
