Abstract
Helen Bamber, OBE Co-Founding Director The Helen Bamber Foundation
Helen Bamber will speak about the work of the Helen Bamber Foundation, a UK-based human rights organisation, and the creative ways in which they respond to survivors of human rights violations.
Helen Bamberβs work in human rights began over 60 years ago with survivors of the Belsen concentration camp after World War II. She was a founder member of Amnesty International and, in 1985, established the Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture.
She welcomes the opportunity to open the discussion for a question and answer session at the end of her presentation.
Entry is free but you may wish to make a contribution to the Foundation at the end of the session.
