We will begin with a brief introduction to group cohomology, then investigate the cohomology of finite Chevalley groups in cross characteristic and use results of Guralnick and Tiep from 2011 on the first cohomology group to obtain a general result for the nth cohomology group. We then use these results to completely determine the cohomology of irreducible modules for PSL when the characteristic of the representation is not 2.
